When my household moved into this two bedroom appt in a poor neighborhood we started seeking for alarms everywhere. The difficulty is getting a wireless alarm program that is effective and cost effective. For tiny aparments or homes with only a handful of entry points this alarm functions great. It came with two contact alarms which can work on doors or windows, and two motion sensors. My favored feature is that it comes with two keychain remotes. This way you can set the alarm to your house just like setting a vehicle alarm and no require for typing in codes.
Method functions well and is easy to install, but is extremely restricted. It comes with two door/window sensors and two motion detectors. The manual (page 14) says you can add additional sensors to this technique, but in fact this is not true considering that neither Swann (nor any third party that I can uncover) sells extra sensors for this system. (Swann sells other door/window sensors, but they can not be implemented with this wireless system.) So if you want to safeguard way more than two doors and windows, you can't. It's tough to imagine a house with only 2 doors + windows. Furthermore, one of the sensors did not function when I received it, leaving me with only one particular door/window sensor. I advocate obtaining oneself one other system with much more capabilities.
