I purchased this Camera package for a 2nd household. I was impressed with the size of the difficult drive and the amount of record time that was given (two.5 Yrs). I figured if I got have of that it would be terrific. We got 6 DAYS and that's with the process set to record motion only. The predicament I located is at Night bugs set it off. And if you set the sensativity low sufficient that bugs don't set it off it won't pickup a human. (not fantastic) So it ends up recording all night and thats with only 9 of the 16 cameras hooked up. So setting up alarms to go to e mail would be a nightmare. it woudl send all night.
We did have difficulty with the brackets not holding but I had no difficulty obtaining replacements via consumer service.
Picture excellent is Awesome and we had everthing we necessary to do the job.
General, I am incredibly satisfied with this item, but it does have concerns with the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has an adjustible elbo that is rather simple and easy to screwup. Once you adjust the camera to your desired field of view, you could get that you can't tighten down the mount to hold the camera steady. I have mounted 11 camera's and had a complicated time with the mounts on 4 of them. I have identified that if you are rather gentle and attempt not to move the elbo at all you can get a good tight mount that will not swing in the wind.
