I read all the testimonials before I tried this item. I am fairly concerned and picky shopper. I thought I would give this a attempt. I think the important to this product is the flooring you are working with this on. The foot on the lock operates exceptional on title or wood. I would not advocate this product on carpet.
1 key point to remember...the farther away you have the base from the door the much less strength it has. Attempt to get it amongst 70 degrees and 80 degrees.
