The GE Wireless Color Camera with Night Vision is the ultimate in modern home security. The full color camera features night vision technology for use in low-to-no light circumstances. The video can be transmitted up to 200-Feet, which enables you to view any portion of your house conveniently. This unit includes the complete color camera and AC adaptor for power.
The 45233 Wireless Color Camera characteristics Night Vision technologies. Objects and pictures can be noticed in little or no light up to ten ft. The camera makes use of a unique image sensor that automatically detects on the market light levels. It turns on/off the Infra-Red (IR) LEDs on the front of the camera. These LEDs produce artificial light that will allow the camera to see in the dark. Night Vision will appear as a Black and White image. When the image sensor detects adequate light, color will return to the images.

I bought this unit to add to the wireless camera method that I had bought locally. This is the secondary camera for the Wireless Color Camera with Receiver 45234 ([...]). 1st of all, the price tag was the lowest that I had discovered. Shipping was Fast. Unit came nicely packed and in excellent condition. Uncomplicated to hook up. Just mount it in your desired location, plug it in, and set the viedo input selector on the receiver. Mine is connected to a tv and vcr player/recorder. Camera image is identical to the original one in the wireless camera method. If you program to use this unit at night, do not mount it in a window, as the night vision lights will only reflect back into the camera. Thus, either use it for interior purposes, or mount it in a sheltered place outside. Mine is mounted more than the entry door on a covered porch, so there is no climate exposure issues. If you will need an extension for the 8' power cord, the distributor ([...]) can sell you a 15' extension cable for the camera. You may well have to have the item quantity to investigation this: Wireless Color Camera 45233. They also carry a battery pack that they say lasts up to five hrs. I am very happy with my purchase.
